VILLAGE Students
To be a community for all 6th-12th grade students that seeks to glorify God by surrendering to Jesus, making disciple-making disciples and transforming the Blythewood and world.
What To Expect
When you come to our student ministry, you’ll find a welcoming community centered on Jesus Christ. We gather not just to have a ton of fun, but also to worship God with joy, learn from His Word, and grow together as disciples. Each message is rooted in Scripture and connects God’s truth to real life—helping students see that following Jesus changes everything. Our adult leaders are here to walk alongside students, encouraging them in faith and modeling what it means to follow Christ daily. Through worship, teaching, and relationships, we’re learning together to love God, love others, and live as His disciples.

When
Middle Schoolers meets on Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Village Church Student Center.
High Schoolers and meets on Wednesday nights from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Village Church Student Center.
WhERE
Village Students meets in the Village Church Student Center. Students can be dropped off at the front of the building to begin check-in.

VILLAGE HIGH GETAWAY
(RISING 9TH GRADE - GRADUATES)
A camp experience unlike any other, Getaway provides high school students an opportunity to retreat to the beach where they will marvel at God’s creation while being immersed in Christ-centered community and worship.Students will enjoy activities such as team games, swimming, 3 on 3 basketball tournaments, and more.

VILLAGE MIDDLE GETAWAY
(RISING 6TH GRADE -RISING 8TH)
Getaway allows middle school students to encounter Christ in an unforgettable atmosphere of worship. Held at Camp Longridge, students will have the opportunity to engage with one another through activities such as paintball, ropes course, and the infamous Blob.

IGNITE WEEKEND
JANUARY 22ND - 24TH, 2027
AT CAMP LA VIDA
IGNITE Weekend is a world-class weekend experience that will challenge students at all points in their spiritual walk and encourage them to embrace a Christ-centered lifestyle. This annual January event focuses on passionate worship, engaging teaching and spiritual discipleship designed to fuel faith within the hearts of teenagers to build mature followers of Jesus who don’t just survive in society, but thrive.
Palmetto Leads is an experiential leadership program that empowers, enables, and equips middle and high school students to rise to the call of leadership and awaken their potential. Our students will encounter phenomenal experiences while receiving training from outstanding minds in the world of government, business and leadership. Students must meet the prerequisite of attending VillageU prior to participating in Palmetto Leads .
Village U is a leadership training program designed to teach students how to be consistent community leaders. This program is geared toward raising up young men and women who are mature as followers of Christ and capable of making a difference in society. Village U will be available to students beginning their 8th grade year and will prepare them for and serve as a prerequisite to attending Palmetto Leads.
VILLAGE U HAPPENS ON SUNDAYS 5:00PM-6:00PM THROUGHOUT THE MONTHS OF OCTOBER & FEBRUARY.

Palmetto Leads is a 3 year leadership journey for students. This experience will catapult students past their peers giving them a head start as they face the challenges of the world. This leadership structure is framed through the lens of scripture and will help guide your student to see the world from a biblical worldview while also providing them the necessary leadership tools that will help them be an influence for Jesus wherever they may go.
